Bob

While browsing through tonight's new posts when I got back home this evening, I found a post saying  that I was taken up as a Bravo member - that's like just cool :yahoo:

Will use the next week to read up a bit on some of the stuff (tactical BF sounds good - never tried it that serious before) here in the Bravo secured channel, to get ready for the lan.
Hope I ain't too rusty for you guys, haven't really been playing since BF 1942/Vietnam was new...

Nice joining you, and really looking forward to be seeing you in a week

Your skill doesn't matter - it's all about attitude - welcome and if you didn't deserve to be a Bravo you wouldn't be

Thanks for all the kind words folks, you know how to make one feel welcom ^_^

While I'm at it... I'm going to registert my BF2 account now, but I was dwelling a bit with what character name to use.
My forum name is what it is, due to this forum account was created way before I even had heard of the dMw, when WoW was pretty much the only thing in my head (perhaps it even still is also ), but Threbrilith ain't even close such a good BF2 name as it is a Night Elf Druid name.  Just try to picture some commander yelling on TS "Threbrilith... THREBRILITH - get ass over here ASAP and cover that bridge"... doesn't quite sound right.

I assume that I'll just end up being called Bob here as well (that being the obvious abbrevation for Threbrilith :P), since quite a few of you know me as that already, so than I perhaps just should go for -=[dMw]=-Bob in the first place?
Any comments?  Will that perhaps conflict in some way with a nick somebody is already is using?  I know at least that we have FATBOB, and I think I've seen somebody with another similar one as well :g:

Hmm, not a bad suggestion at all :g:  It's kind of an easier way to say Threb, just with a little twist.

But it's kind of starting to pile up with different handles now... Got Threbrilith, Threb and Bob - a fourth one will put me one step closer to
Think perhaps -=[dMw]=-Bob is still a bit ahead, if it doesn't conflict with any existing dMw'er.

But I'll give it some more thought, and I very much welcom more suggestions

Well I play with my name in BF2 and yes it causes trouble ("Attack that flag, de-... What? de-lan-vi-tal. What the f*ck is that?") but here in dMw I am just referred to as del or delan now - so basically, stick to a name you like and let people figure out what to call you

Oh and welcome to Bravo - and cya in a weeks time :D
