Clan wings & BF2142

BF2142 wont allow for names with -=[], but instead will allow you to add clan wings to your char with a option, the problem kinda is, it only allows 8 chars, and our wings 9. So whats the best way to lose 1, or maybe 2?

Good question. We've had this sort of problem before and have never actually agreed on a standard shortened version of our wings.

what most of us did with BF2 is just to incorporate the -=[dMw]=- tag in to the character name.

as OP stats BF2142 only allows for a aplhanumerical soldier name, so no - or = or [ or ], it will report ilegal character error. instead they give you the option to add a 8 char clan wing under the soldier selection screen.
