News on the BIG boys

Big-Paddy, Big-Dewey and Big-Ranger are now no longer [OBC]. After a year of excellent fun we have moved on with some of the other [OBC] guys to form a new clan called Rusty in Places [RIP].

[OBC] was a great place to hang out and there were some great guys to be with. Unfortunately the clan was run almost exclusively by Americans with a very US centric idea of server provision and other clan issues. Whilst this in itself is understandable it seemed that the majority of the financial contributions came from European members. A number of us subsequently decided it was time to start a European centred clan.

The new clan has already some 70 members in just two weeks of existence.

We have BF2 servers, CSS, COD2 and MOHPA.

The BIG guys always have had, and always will have a warm place in our hearts for dMw and certainly hope we can continue to attend the LAN and contibute to the woderful world of dMw.

If I might ask a favour of those of you who enjoy a ranked BF2 server. We are trying to raise the popularity of the [RIP] servers and this means player numbers. If you can find time to help us out a little by playing on our servers we would be most appreciative.

83.244.171.109 Special Forces infantry only
217.146.93.230 64 Man City Maps Infantry Only
217.146.93.231 64 Man Vanilla

If anyone has time to give us CS:S, COD2 or MOHPA lessons that would be fun as well.

Ooh! Infantry only! That could entice me to ranked servers

I always preferred plain infantry to getting my ass bombed back to the stone age by a plane every 2 minutes

hmm you must have been playing that night when i got a score of 125 exclusively in th f15

althoui i ended up with 90 points due to killin all the mec's and allied forces (execpt me) in 1 bomb run:doh:

had a couple of rounds this afternoon it may have been the time of day but plenty of bunny hopping noob tubers online did'nt notice any RIP guys online which may have been why... I shall give it a try in the evening.....

edit... logged on later in the evening and played a very enjoyable couple of rounds on sharki and zatar, carried the flag for dMw!

Naah mate, this wasn't on the DMW servers. It was when I thought the engineer shotgun upgrade sounded nice, and decided to try and rank to get it. Boy, did I go back on that idea fast.

Hi guys, sorry haven't posted in a while, personal life has been hectic.

Anyway I think its great you guys have supported our new clan - kudos to you all :worship:

And of course we are coming to the next dMw LAN wouldn't miss it - we actually have quite a bit of interest from more of the RIP guys for your next LAN so I'm sure we can fill it this time

I was playing a few days ago and saw outofsync, actually we shot each other a few times which is always nice :narnar:

And I'd definitely like some tips at the next lan - I've just bought CSS and Cod2 and would like some tips on how to shoot someone - least at the next lan we'll be able to join your CSS tourneys (and get owned!)

i think it was more than few times.. I remember now why I dont play Special Forces maps anymore. Will def be back for more on your infantry only server.
