as some or most of you were aware the mother in law was very ill with cancer, on monday she passed away. i will therefore not be around for a while so that i can help the misses re-adjust to things, and also to sort out all the offical stuff.

as some of you were also aware 3 weeks ago she did a sponsered walk to help fund the hospice where she was a patient. we very nearly have made the 5000 pound target that she wanted 1600 online and 3000 offline, if anyone wants to help us reach the 5000 pound mark in her memory then go to the website below,  and also thanks to the guys that have contributed already

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Really sorry to hear that m8 - she sounds like she was a very strong person. Our thoughts go to your wife and any other family your Mother in law had.

As ever round these parts, we'll see you when we see you, right now your wife will need you more than we do as RL must come first.

take care m8

My thoughts echo those already expressed.

From experience I know it can be very stressful supporting the grieving so take things easy, mate.

Difficult to think up a new way of saying what has already been said above, so "what they said" will have to do.

Sorry to hear the news Sulky,  my old mans not been long given the all clear after 9 months of treatment, so I get some sort of feeling as to where you've been recently.

I'm sending a big hug to you & your family.

Gone_Away

My thoughts on people passing are quite simple.

Don't remember them in their dying days as they withered away. Remember them when they were healthy and full of life. Also remember this, while the body eventually fails us and dies, the spirit live's on. Your mother in-law is still around, just on a different astral plane than we are (hope you two got along ok, lol).

Also take comfort that her suffering has finally come to an end and that she can move on in peace.
