Awwww, the graphs are missing on the stat page. :( Any chance that they are just misplaced, or were they not produced in the first place?

This is how the race was from my point of view:

I was pretty nervous, during quali too, was thinking about everything but concentring on the race. I'm not using this as a cheap excuse, it's part of the race to keep your cool, if you can't then face the consequences. :)

Deetz messed up T1, and so did I, I lost 2 places, Bob and Stoney passed me. I struggled to get into rythm, so I falled back a little from them, then caught up again while they had some battles. I managed to pass Bob after the high speed curb hopping chicane as Bob messed it up a little if I remember correctly. Then next laps at the same place I caught up to Stoney as well, and overtook him because he missed the braking a bit at that hairpin leading to the bridge. Deetz and TheJAG was in sight, and because they were having a battle I could catch up a bit to them, at one point I was 2 secs behind them. But soon after they separated a bit, and I kept messing up that high speed chicane, I simply couldn't find the line which I had on previous evenings, so I dropped back.

The rest you know already, I got disconnected. I wasn't angry at all, neither sad. The few good moments I already had by then, otherwise I struggled with the car, I was hot (I forgot to take the top of my tracksuit off), I wished it would have been over already. Be careful what you wish for...

The lap-by-lap graphs are now there but the race progress graph is still broken.

That's a shame, that one is the best. :( Thanks anyway OldBloke. :)

From where I sat 15 laps wasn't enough. The race seemed to go by in a flash. It was only marred by the two disconnects. Deetz left the Ventrilo room slamming the door behind him. Everything went quiet and we just looked at each other. He came back into the room a little later and asked for his dummy back which we had to dig out of the wall like a .45 slug at a murder scene! :lmfao:
It must have been gutting for the both of you. Iron, you put a brave face on it, kudos.
LameDuck and I have a good tussle for the last laps but I eventually thrashed him into a snivelling mess!:yahoo:

An hon mench must go to Sulky who, despite several pittings for damage battled on bravely to finish. Another issue of kudos.
Sulky, you don't have to throw yourself into the scenery every time you get a blue flag!
Oh, he said he's getting his DFP out so my patronising days are short-lived.
Good racing all. On the South City Long. :thumbsup2:

Huh? Seems to work for me

Nothing much to tell about my race. Except... I suffered very low fps in the start. In the red lights I had like 20fps, but towards the T1 it became a slide show. It was really hard to tell anymore how the car was going and so I spinned. I think somebody collided with me in the process (or I hit him, dunno which way). Really sorry for that. I decided to wait that people get some gap so I dropped to from 8th to 12th. After which I had fps 60-80 when there were not too many cars at the same time on my screen.

Then it was mostly just struggling to control the car for 15 laps. At one point I had some racing with Jas, but after I spinned at the uphill section he managed to pull too far, when I pitted.

In the future it might be good to limit the autox objects to minimum (which still prevents people from cutting), because every object slows the fps little bit. I don't know if that was the reason now, but just in case. Never I have seen that low fps for myself so it might have been something else.

The second (and last) graph is not loading, becuase the image is missing.

By the way, where can I find the replay, I looked at http://lfs.deadmen.co.uk/skins/MPRs/ but it's not there. If it hadn't been recorded, could someone post it please?

Click on the link buttons at top of the page. That way you can see the missing graph. (I seem to have only 1 graph missing)

Yeah, that would be good. I could check if the low fps is visible in the replay. If not then it might have been some program in the background.

Please post the link, I couldn't seem to find it. Just to be sure: we're speaking about a graph like this: http://lfs.deadmen.co.uk/lfs/stats/graph/2007-09-20_21.59.08_rpr.png

Yep, that's the one Oldie's having problems with. But I know he'll sort it 'cos he's a tenacious old.....bloke. :)

Nope...that you can't see. There is one graph (named "lap by lap"?) which you can see only by clicking the links at the top. There is one picture missing at the bottom of the page (shows X instead of the picture).

Iron

That's what we were talking about all the time, mate. :)

By the way you don't need to click that link to see that lap by lap graph, it's there at the bottom of the page, that link just jumps there.

You know very well that I eased off so as not to upset a fellow pensioner.:narnar:

Snivelling mess indeed!

mmmmm....looks like there is more odd in it. Indeed it shows "lap by lap graph" in the title text but i think it is not. If you click the lap by lap link it shows totally different graph. I ment the 'graph' wher it show everybody's lap time for each lap in a table.

sulky_uk

that was fun, and no ron i didnt throw myself into the follage at the siqn of a blue flag, my automatic get out of the way nervous tick forced my hands to turn the wheel too hard when the dreaded blue flag message appeared, only because i didnt want to impeed the racing cause i was a lap back, but kodos to you all cause every single player said thanks for me getting out of the way, even if it did envolve a 19 sec pit stop after it:)

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.
