Buyscripts ...

Last night when I played on de_dust2 as T I realised that me and one more on my team used buyscripts out of seven people!  8O

It sucks when you can run to B and plant before the rest of your team has entered the mincer.

If you don't have a script for buying weapons, armour and equipment I strongly suggest that you get one. In the downloads section I have linked two simple to use scripts. There are lots out there and you could always write your own, but either those will do for starters.

Not only is there an in game GUI but you can bind all your favorite weapons to keys thru the main halfife/counter-strike control menus.
Very easy to use.

If anyone would care to post just what keys they want to use and exactly what they want to buy with them, i'd be quite happy to make them their own custom script just how they like it.


Me myself i use the F1 to F6 to buy various guns, Deagle, Mp5, Colt, Ak scout and awp (all i use really), then F7 and F8 for the two diffrent kinds of armor and finally F9 to F12 for the 3 types of grenades and a defuse kit.  Some people have varying keys set to buy packs of stuff e.g an AK, 2 Flashes, a HE and the cheap Kevlar, i think this is a bit silly really as half the time you end up with some crap your not gonna use or run out of money as its buys the various stuff and end up with everything but the most important stuff.

I bind the fkeys to kit+gun+ammo+armour in that order, so that I never forget to buy a kit when I use them then I have a bind which gets kit+grenades and another that gets kit+armour. Oh yes, and you can set one bind that buys m4a1 when you're CT and an AK when you're T. likewise for aug/sig.

Well as its down there to download I take it its a recomendation,
and seeing as I didnt visit the downloads site..........

Well i personally did try these ages ago but found that i can buy all kit and weps before the rounds started anyway , isnt it like 3-5 secs before round u have

It is. right up until you play on a server with a zero freeze time  8O  I've see a few of those in my time..... and most people cannot handle their keyboard quickly enough if that time - and the problems are worse on slower connections.

This becomes more of an issue when you are in a match and then it can give you a serious disadvantage if you are NOT using a buyscript.

I know how it's done. Copy the item you want from the main rze list. Then paste into your command menu. I can do it 'onest!

Don't you find the cs commandmenu to be even slower than the buy menu's?  I use it for rcon and admin mod stuff and it's just soooooo annoyingly sloooowww..

I don't know how many commandmenus there are but I hit 'h' up comes my buy menu, click on the weapon I want and I'm equiped with max ammo grens defusers etc. all with one key press and one click. Seems quick to me.
