Oh and I do find thru playing here and on other servers that there is a natural tendancy not to be first thru any door, gate or opening.
And I firmly believe that it is in some players tactics not to be the first thru
any of the said  above.
They usually come  along and sweep up any of the opposition that u knock the sh*t out of but not quite managed to kill.
Then creep round the map while the rest go and break open another bottle.

Im noticing that with a few of the new players..

I am normally first or second to leave spawn (that is mainly down to only using 2 types of gun, kevlar&helmet, HE and FB) and i am the first to die.

I dont mind being the first to die as i am the cannon fodder i can take out at least one when i go......but i CANNOT sneak around i find it boring and it isnt my style of play.

But im not saying it is wrong to sneak around just that some people prefer to do it by means of letting there team die and mopping up to make themselves look good.

So this is me then?  I am very quick out of spawn but I also do the the sweep manouver when necessary. I adjust my style of play to the situation. I find no meaning in dying without cause ...

From a slightly different perspective.
 Firstly I have not been playing PCS as long as most of you and find it a different concept of CS to frag matches. This initially left me in a quandry on spawn, do I charge off and get killed and therefore don't contribute to the team or do I follow the lead of more experienced players, for what it is worth I choose the second and normally come out of spawn near the back and usually follow the main body of the team. However if I am given an instruction from the team leader and am told to go either quickly( a concerted rush) or slowly (sneak quitely up on them) then that is what I do, again following more experienced players.
Secondly I find that tactics are dictated to a large extent by the map you are playing and the personel allocated to each team. It is this which I find the most telling deciscion to move quickly or slowly in the absence of a communication.
Since playing PCS the last thing I worry about is my score (it has always beeen in the lower ranks) but I get a good feeling if I can take a load of health off one of the better players on the opposing side and my compadre then comes along and wacks him. I feel as though Iv'e done a reasonable job and at the same time get a lot of enjoyment from the game  :roll:

Likewise. But wouldn't it be nice if it were possible to acknowledge the fact. I know for certain that I/we all, have benefitted from someone elses earlier engagement/sacrifice, but you can never be sure who's.

I dont think it is benefit that we are looking for it is teamplay, being the first one in a confrontation i either kill or at least get a lot of health off the opposition and i am happy with that as i at least contribute to getting some of there players killed before they kill me. I tried a few times being the cleaner up and tbh i dont like it, i can do it but dont enjoy it.

Just to pick on oldie for a sec he is the first out of spawn gets in the thick of it and can clean up aswell now that is an all round player, then we have the cannon fodder which is the category i fall in but i dont like the hanger back category which we have a few im afraid (NOT YOU SADAKO CHILL OUT   )
