As I was typing 'benefitted' I KNEW it was going to be jumped on. I was forgetting that no one round here looks at their tally and thinks 'not bad', 'pleased with that' or 'what a load of crap!' I don't think anyone can accuse me of not being a team player but I do get a huge satisfaction if my contribution has been significant and very disappointed if it has been negligable. If we're honest, at the end of a game we look at our scores first and the team scores second.

Spot on doorman.
Most people look at their scores.
It is the main way to see if your being effective now that the mod on the server as been removed that used to tell u much damage u had inflicted on the enemy.

There were good technical reasons why the mod was removed, like - it borked the server

Personally I miss that one, but don't rule out a come back.......

talking of being out first, the only part to this that really bugs me is that the person behind, 8 out of 10 times waits until im dead before following through door, vent, whatever. That really bugs me and one reason i'll go in after someone rather than first.

all the rounds i played in were filled with good teamplay and xlent leadership

Iv'e just read the posts on this thread again and would agree with Doorman that I check the score throughout the game and feel better if I'm in the upper half (most unusual) than in the lower half (normal) but the main thing is still the team contribution for enjoyment.
I also played on the Hook this evening and would agree with Zok's Comments 100%. :oops:

Never made me want to do other than sort out which weapons etc. I want. If you don't use buy scripts you are probably the only one in dMw, or who plays on dMw, that doesn't 'cheat' :evil: (Apart from Dingo who hasn't fathomed buy scripts yet!)
