However it's not as though they've been thrown out of dMw and should they make a welcome return they can always be reinstated once they start participating again.

In fairness, some of the people demoted haven't been online in years.

I'm in favour too. As a slightly active person though I would propose that as you aork things through you might write some words that make it all crystal clear to everyone what is expected. It doesn't seem fair for people to lose something wiothout understanding why.
