Quote from: OldBloke;251439I think we could squeeze in a 'Battle' badge awarded to a member who has represented dMw in a recognised league/ladder/cup.

Whaddya fink?

I like it :)

Quote from: Penfold;251522PS. I envisage the LAN badge will run from April to April - so if you go to the LAN in either April or October in any one year, you will retain the badge until the following April's LAN when all LAN badges will be removed and then only re-issued to those attending the April LAN (who will keep it until the following April). It will also then be issued to additional people attending the October LAN (who will also keep it until the following April).

Does that make sense?

It makes sense and I can see it will make the administration easier but for someone that only attends the LAN at the end of the year, it doesn't seem fair that you only have the LAN badge until the April.  Why should someone who only attends in April get extra status over someone who only attends in October?

The only fair way around this is to make the badge valid from the LAN you attend until the next LAN or valid for 12 months from the LAN you attend.

We would prob need two LAN badges unless Gandy knows a simple way to work it with one. We could have an April badge and an Oct/Nov badge if necessary.

Spring LAN and Autumn LAN kind of thing.... Seems a tad excessive but if we have the room then it may encourage more double attendances :norty:

Would all the Section Heads please select the badge icons they would like to use for their section.

Please feel free to amend my first post with your chosen tags. If you can't access it then let me know and we will do it. That way they're all in one place.

AFAIAA we haven't come up with the 'Golden Badge' as yet - this doesn't really fall under anyone's remit so if anyone has any ideas?

I'll chase Delan for the F@H tags.
I'll try and sort something out to differentiate between the LAN - i.e. Spring and Autumn.
We thought about a badge for competition-playing CS:S players.... whitey?

I like Zootoxins medal for anyone representing dMw in official matches

Updating first post..

Edit: Hadn't noticed and I like it better.

For CoD4, I like BB's icons better than the ones Jabbs did but it would be nice if the Admin one was in red to match the other sections. (IMO)

Admin one now red - first post updated

Forum badge needs the addition of a red one to indicate moderator and the basic one should be green.

Another effort for 'Community Supporter'.

Well that's a lot nice that the tut ones we have so far for community supporter I have to say.

I'll amend the forum ones.

smilodon

Not a huge fan of the 'admin' icon, the smiley sun. It looks too much like a generic smiley rather than a badge of office. That being said I offer absolutely nothing as an alternative :g:

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

TeaLeaf

Wot he said.  We'll have to come up with one, the smiley was just a test of whether they could be applied to a group.

Greg, you also need to decide on the Forum Contributor tag as it's your department :). I like the current one and if you go with it, I'll amend it to fit in the green (general), red (admin/mod), Gold (Section Head) module. Otherwise can you come up with an alternative? Anything in mind?

Thanks
