IRC (again) on #deadmen

Heya people!  just thought I'd encourage you to get in to the deadmen IRC channel (found at #deadmen)

The applications used are low overhead.

The bandwidth usage is very low.

Currently there are maybe 10 regulars but would be nice to have more.

You do not need to feel obliged to chat all the time in IRC - in a way that's not the point but it's a useful way of contacting others in the community.

I believe that IRC is a requirement for Enemy Down anyway but don't feel that you wont load up IRC just because you don't play in ED.

It's used for everyone and is also available for non-dMw'ers.
It was used for ED-matches and such aswell to get in contact with other Matcharangers. :flirty:

And while steam/msn would work but then you would need everybodys addresses, with irc we can all be in same channel.
  And if you feel like playing or asking any help, its easy to share information there and also have just a nice little chat.

Could we maybe consider having an advert in the game servers for our irc channel? It would at least bring the idea more into the spotlight, I think many people seem to miss these posts.

And you are in, first you need to get +v to be able to speak, but that should be done pretty fast.
