Just started/resumed folding? Do a post here

Finally gotten myself to add F@H at my home server (1.8GHz AMD Sempron with 512MB RAM), so that should hopefully help a bit on my production rate.

I haven't really managed to figure out what has happened with those computers I left running with F@H when I left school last summer though... I though they were gone a couple of months ago, but now suddenly there are more active processors on the F@H stats page than I can account for... Well, I won't complain about that

Started some folding for you guys. Name will be Magnus417. Will not run all the time but when running will be a quad core machine at 4 gig and an ati 4870 x2 so will add some points and a ps3 for luck. My computer seems to run at between 680 - 800 iter/sec on the gpu client but I have no idea if that is good or bad and have no idea what my cpu is doing. Will need to see if my ps3 will download the update first!!!

Decided to come out of retirement and start folding again,downloaded and installed the gpu client but it seems to be playing up,every time i start it and try to play a game such as cod 4 my pc freezes then shuts down, i have a asus 9500gt 1gb pentium core duo 3ghz and 2mb ram.
anyone got any suggestions that may help me resume folding without these problems.

In the tray, and then options: do you have priority to low or slightly higher?

was set to slightly higher,so i changed it to low games work ok m=now though f@h seem to beattempting to get to get work packets for a bout 2 hours now

i dont seem to be showing on the dMw team list, do i need to get so many points before i do?, just dont want the points to go to anyone else, i have checked the team ID and it is correct, can anyone explain?

if i remember correctly you need points on the board before you show up

ok thats fair enough, just a bit concerned because you dont have to logg in as such into anthing, just dont wana loose the work thats all, im sure it will all come clear after a few weeks :blink: :g:

ok getting a bit frustrated now, i did some folding yesterday but cant find my username in the stats to make sure its working. Can someone please help. I need to know if i have done everything right. I download the client, installed it and all is well. Open the client, enter a username of dMwSparKo, and our team ID. All looks fine. i then minimise to the taskbar and it gets on with it nice and hapily, stating working 15/125. I presume this is all i need to do? can someone let me know if i have missed somthing here please? :ranting2: :ranting2::crying:
