sounds like your doing everything right m8.

the propblem with the cpu client is it takes an age to complete work packets.

i would suggest adding the gpu client but they don't support your graffix card :sad: they support from the 8600 up.

as said before i am pretty sure you wont register your work untill you have completed you 1st work packet, and then it still takes a few hrs to update on their system.

ok getting a bit frustrated now, i did some folding yesterday but cant find my username in the stats to make sure its working.  Can someone please help.  I need to know if i have done everything right.  I download the client, installed it and all is well.  Open the client, enter a username of dMwSparKo, and our team ID.  All looks fine.  i then minimise to the taskbar and it gets on with it nice and hapily, stating working 15/125.  I presume this is all i need to do?  can someone let me know if i have missed somthing here please? :ranting2: :ranting2::crying:

Started again now I've reinstalled Vista Blista. I've got he GPU client going instead.

Yup, starting F@H again today. I've set up a new username; its just "Exodus". Using the Vista/Nvidia GPU, at least I think that is the correct one for me.

My new desktop arrived just before Easter, so a couple of days ago I got started with GPU folding - and I must say, the results I get are really cool

Only thing I have to figure out now is how to get GPU folding on multiple cores (I have an ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 with two processors on the same card). Have been looking a bit into the guides at the F@H pages, and if I read things correctly; in Vista you actually have to have one monitor connected to each of the GPUs. I only have one monitor, but it can take different inputs at once, so perhaps I can trick it with just an extra dummy cable...
