Quote from: Dr Sadako;262315One starts to consider going back to mapping again. :)

Looking forward to some nice gitspots for the zombies. :D
Hopefully you'll be able to arange witches and tankpositions aswell.

Last night on 1 map, our team got 2 witches and a tank, other side only had 1 witch.

He has to kill Ninja_Freak, a young Man whose life will have a great significance in years to come.Ninja has only one protector - DuVeL - also sent from the future. The more players on 1 side the more tanks and witches you get to somewhat level out the difficulty, or at least so it seams.

Sometimes the director seams to be going a bit mental thou, had 3 witches, 2 tanks and 2 hordes on the final level of expert, before we even started the final fight. :sideways:
Aszune (Alliance):
Sokhar lv 80 (H/M) Warrior, Sokhár lv 80 (H/M) Death Knight, Beset lv 70 (NE/F) Druid, Bastet lv 70 (NE/F) Rogue, Mentu lv 70 (Dr/M) Shaman
-=[dMw]=-Bastet (CSS) / -=[dMw]=-Niwa (BF2) / -=dMw=- Sokhar (BF2142)
-=[dMw]=- MVP Award Holder (June 2006) Winning team -=[dMw]=- Christmas Crunch (2008)

Quote from: DuVeL;262305The update will also bring with it the much anticipated Left 4 Dead SDK, finally allowing the mod community to start creating its own campaigns and levels â€" something that Left 4 Dead, with its limited four campaigns, has been crying out for.

Joy! Been waiting for the SDK for ages. :D

3vs3 so was a bit weird.
Also the swapping of players is still a bit weird but then again, it's Steambased!

From CSN ...

QuoteAs expected, the new versus mode campaigns will be the versus adaptations of Dead Air and Death Toll. These two campaigns were omitted in the versus lineup at the game's launch for unknown reasons. It should be noted that these campaigns are already playable in a versus format with a small bit of tweaking, and only on the PC version.

BB - any idea on the bit in bold? We somehow managed to do this by accident the other night but I have no idea how we achieved it.

Yeah that was odd wasnt it? We managed to get 7 people on the server I think so were basically playing it in versus mode :O

Wouldn't mind it happening again since it's a fun campaign :D

I wonder if i was because I was trying to set it to an Infected players against Survivor Bots or vice-versa? That is about the only thing I can think of. Maybe one thing to test?
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

I think I'll wait for the formal release, that way we don't end up with people having wrong maps and some having maps and some not.

Good idea. The L4D server code is tempramental enough as it is without any additional tinkering.

The recently announced downloadable content for Left 4 Dead will be free on both the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Valve has just sent out this press release that should clear up any confusion.
