Invisible survivors

I heard on a PC Gamer podcast recently that survivors can go invisible to zombies if the walk and don't shoot?

By invisible I mean they cannot be seen through walls etc. I've never seen that in game and was wondering if it was true?

if you stand still and dont shoot you go invisable and if you crouch walk i believe its the same

Unfortunately because zombies start their spawn cycle wherever the survivors are, they always know your location, so there's little to be gained from being stealthy. Slight oversight on the developers' part methinks. :(

True enough. Hiding in a cupboard isn't a viable option then :)

if you as infected run out of sight and spawn say a good 50 metres and all the survivors stay still yes you have a rough idea where they are but it makes it hard to get a 1st strike on them

I'd like to see the whole team stay invisible on the hard setting :norty:
