After a lot of debate this is where we stand.

dMw would like to support and field a team competetive play, however the lack of organisation and dedication shown in the previous incarnation of the ladder leaves us with some reservations.

Nobody is pointing fingers or apportioning blame but to demonstrate that a roster of people would be organised and willing to represent dMw in the way to which we have become accustomed over the years. So we have an impass, we want to encourage the evolution of an L4D team, but we don't want to sacrifice our standards or expectations, which based on the ladder is where we would be.

Where do we go from here?
For the next 4 weeks we are going to trial an in-house match system. Wednesday nights will be match night, starting at 8pm sharp. Those that want to be in or run the competitive team have the responsibility to round up the people, get your rosters sorted and get yourselves to ColdStore for an 8pm start.

I'll ensure you have competition waiting, but the proof of the exercise is to show that you can organise and turn up without one of the backroom admins having to do the work. The Ladder section of the forum will be renamed so you can use it for whatever you like.

I hope this makes sense to all, let's get our house in order before we unleash on the masses.

This sounds awesome and i am really pleased dmw will be going for a LFD team.

I am really up for getting involved and playing in the LFD team i'm however in the middle of my exams and will be free from the beginning of June.

Can i ask what style of play would you like the team to play.

By that i mean survivor, versus, or co-op

It's going to be a terrific summer and i simply can't wait

I've got a couple of people who have expressed an interest so hopefully we can get a couple of squads going!
