OK got it working and tried it out last night.

Ye Gods it's complicated :blink: There's so many buttons you need to be a flippin' octopus.

It is normal that it all goes a bit acid-trippy when you move from side-to-side?

Took me ages to find out how to climb over stuff as there's no jump button.

This could take a moment :eyebrow:

Yp, steep learning curve. Head bopping can be reduced in game options.

LOL I have to switch the head bob off completely or I feel sick!! I also switch off post processing as the motion blur makes me feel sick as well but not as much as head bob.

Same here!

It makes the background blurry, and your vision blurry when you move around fast.

Was off work for a week, and clever enough to have the game posted here rather then home :doh:

Will hopefully get round to installing it this evening when I get home. :boxing:

OK I rejigged it and turned off various bits and it's still very jerky.

I'm going to have one last attempt before hanging up my spurs on this one.

I would try and get post processing off completely. I cant remmeber the specs of your gaming computer but I have read them on here somewhere. You will need to turn thigs down below what the game thinks. I also found thedmw server slightly laggy when playing around but have a play around in server and see if it helps. Switch off any AA or AF and try the render level below your 3d level to see if it helps.

Imo this is a game with alot of potential, but theres just too many bugs and the AI spots you so easily!

Agreed m8 which is why we need to play coop - its much more interesting and the AI doesn't matter as much.

A new patch is out for both the client and server. Get it from http://www.arma2.com/support/updates/folder.html?lang=en

The server is being updated as I type.
