I had a few problems with the connection too. Hopefully they'll bring out another patch soon as the game has great potential.

So far I have not had any connection problems (holds wooden desk) I have not had the chance to get on the dmw server yet apart from the first couple of days. I had a few problems in the first couple of days but the small updates seem to have sorted it out. Will try and see if I can get on the server tonight. I also heartly recommend Game Booster. It basically shuts down all the stuff in the back ground while you are gaming. It seems to stop the the HD having as much activity which this game does not seem to like.

I've cleared a 12GB chunk of my C:drive as I couldn't get it to run from E:
so fingers crossed:)
I'm going to apply the patch immediately and try to join you all.
It's taking ages to install so gawd knows what time I'll be on

Nope, same problem. Soon as I join the server it bans me.

This is a clean retail install - no mods or anything, just the official patch.

Can we turn whatever protection is banning me, off?

A breathalizertest might do the trick...

Serious now. I'd like to try the game, what do you guys recommend? Try the Testversion first or at the LAN or such?

I dl'd the demo and installed it to my new big E:drive and it wouldn't play
so I installed to my overcrowded C;drive and it worked.
I bought the game and tried to install to E: but it wouldn't run from there.
I install to my (now cleaned up) C: and it comes up with an error:sideways:
I haven't even tried the game and I hate it already:taz:
I'm going to try again tomorrow and if that fails, it'll be up for sale
....
