A member has reported that he's getting a message saying his posts need to be authorised before they're accepted. Anyone else getting this?

If so, please give us as much info as possible so we can sort this out quickly.

Thanks.

I am :D but then you know that already, so I'll see if its doing it by posting....

This happens if the poster has spent more than 15 mins to do the post.

Blimey, I know it can take me a while to work out what I wanna say sometimes, but 15 mins for each post is a bit much, & as I seem to be the only one that this is happening to & oldie thinks he might have fixed it, this is the test!

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

This is what's been happening to me, every time I post it's showing as needing moderator approval, incase it's happening to anyone else.

The only thing that will be causing this is you're being flagged up on the anti-spam service.

A couple of questions. What ISP are you on and are you on a dynamic IP?

Cake: Four large eggs. One cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. Three/four cups butter or margarine. One and two third cups granulated sugar. Two cups all purpose flour. Fish shaped ethyl benzene. Twelve medium geosynthetic membranes. Three tablespoons rhubarb, on fire.

RizZy

ISP is Virgin & I was trying out - https://www.opendns.com ,dunno why, one of those daft things we like to do, i'll try setting it back to narmal & i'll see if that makes a differance.

RizZy

DNS set back to normal, lets see if this works....

Gandalf

may take a while as if it's flagged your IP up as a possible spam source it could take a bit of time to come off the list. I'll do some further checking to see if this is the case (pretty sure it is as you're the only one affected)

Whatever was the problem, still seems to be a problem Gandy

Penfold

can you create a new registered user please and see if it's a user issue or possibly your isp issue?

Gandy may well say this is pointless, but it'll keep you busy :)

Thanks

I'm certain it's the spam module that does not like your IP address for some reason. However all of your posts are being submitted as 'not spam' so it will learn (according to their FAQ anyway) http://akismet.com/faq/

Looking at your IP, it's been the same for a while so I guess you're on a static IP.
