can we update the servers for tonights gaming?

Updates to Left 4 Dead have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Left 4 Dead

A new campaign, "Crash Course", is now available for play in Campaign, Versus and Survival modes
In Versus mode, all weapons, pills, health packs, molotovs, pipe bombs and other items will now be identical for the second round of a chapter
Matchmaking has had several improvements to make finding and joining games even faster
Ten all new "Crash Course" achievements have been added

Got on a server luckily

Can't play again tonight but done a full run through. It looks awesome and lots of potential.

Shame its only 2 levels though, I was hoping for a full campaign.

Better than nothing i suppose :yahoo:

I changed my download location to Vietnam, and it's flying along now. Heh.

Going to give it a run through in about 10 minutes if anyone fancies a go.

I just played through the new 'campaign' with some bots.

It's very good, but quite short - took me half an hour to run through the whole thing on Normal.

There seem to be multiple routes through each of the levels, which should make for some interesting VS mode action..

It's been ages since I've last licked or puked on one of you guys :blink:...(sorry Benny was out and about when you sent the invite the other night.)

I will try and catch some games with you guys this week (wont be tonight though), and check out the new map. :flirty:
