just to let you know i got home from my day visit to the lan, nice quiet drive to Lincoln with no traffic, 1 hr 15 and didn't even break any speed limits........ why cant Lincolnshire be like this to drive round all the time

thanks to pen, tea, ninja and all the rest for a good day out

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Tutonic

I've just got back after dropping Lumi off at the airport.

It was great to meet up with everyone again, big thanks must go to everyone who helped organise the LAN and make it all work - cheers guys.

See you again in October :)

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

I'm home safe and sound:)
A big thanks to those dedicated members who make the whole thing happen.
Good to meet you all again:)

Home just in time to see MotoGP and The 'Pool being thrashed by Chelsea. Sorry I rushed.
Great LAN ~ nice to see some old faces and meet some new ones :D
Hope to be back in October

I'm home too.

As usual, BIG thanks to those who helped make the w/e a success and for setting up the servers and network. I was very lazy this time and left it in the hands of others - I was drinking heavily when the network was set up so am not sure who did that but thanks.

Also the Ninja_Freak, again, for his doing the LAN Accounts and his MC'ing, Sheepy for doing a cracking job with the competitions (and having to deal with several technical issues), Oldie for the servers ably supported by Whitey and for everyone else for the multitude of little tasks. :thumbsup2:

I have brought back the remnants of the whiskies which I'll tuck away for the next LAN although, given the state I was in and the most horrendous hangover I think I've ever had I'm not rushing to repeat it ..... unless of course if Magnus brings along his superlative 42 yr Glen Farclas from the family's personal cask ........ how cool is that :worship:.

You're a great bunch of people and it's a great weekend ..... cannae wait 'til October

GhostMjr

See you all in October.

Luminance

Cracking LAN, though I hope next time we can play all the games :D

Man I'm glad I took the train, its practically impossible to enter the province Overijssel (and with that the area Twente) by any other means, as FC TWENTE is now for the FIRST time CHAMPION of HOLLAND !!!!! :D

Its a mad house, perfect ending to such a wonderfull weekend :D

All the freeways in Twente are full with people walking/waiting towards/for the player bus lol. I bet that even when the Netherlands will win the world cup of soccer, it won't be such a mad house :P

Maybe there\'s something to be said for being different. We are who we are. What more could we ask for?
