If one physical user joins and plays with 9 bots the server refuses to let anyone else join.

The error they receive is: failed to ping server please try again counterstrike global offensive.

Maybe if we disable bots it might work?

Apparently this was a bug back in March this year.

Apparently this was a bug back in March this year.

Yesterdays update changed the way the bots join/leave.  They will now only leave at the end of a round and human players must join a team within the first 15 seconds of a round starting.   I've changed a few of the bot parameters to hopefully get the bots to leave once we have 4 humans playing.  Just need some players to help test it.  I've also added a password to the server which can be found in the server password thread.  If we still have issues with the bots they can be disabled but they are usually really good for getting a game going.

Bots have been disabled to see if that helps but I can't find anyone on to test it with.

Lots of people having this issue since the update last week: http://forums.steamgames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=32313873 is an example but more threads related to the issue.  I'm still looking but don't think we'll have a server we can all use until Valve fix the bugs.

Bit disappointing really from valve tbh.

Regarding the server does it need to have a password?

I know tut has commented on the forum asking for one but this is a great way we can get people to know about what we do.

Maybe even one of the old cs banners could be used in the motd although currently a valve welcome to the cs:beta one is showing.

If we have it unpassword people might be able to dip in and out of our server.

I think it's a conversation to develop in the public section to find out what is wanted rather than in the Server Change Requests thread GM.  Then we can factor in experience of the Live server to suit.   Right now in Beta it doesn't matter at all imo.

It seems impossible to join

Looking at the in-game server browser, it says "empty,grp:11314i," in Tags column.

CSGO server is not allowing me to join.
Perhaps it needs restart?


Edit:
JAS & me both couldn't join earlier. I got the message "one or more players may have blocked you" when I entered pw.
There was 1 player showing on server list at the time, but server info doesn't seem to work so I don't know who it was (no-one in my friends list).
Later I managed to join and Snokio joined too, so the problem didn't re-occur.

Loaded up teamspeak this morning and it came up with a message saying to inform the server administrator that there is an update to the server client it is currently running.
