Server Change Requests

Any chance you could make sure that the new map de_vertigo is in our rotation please?
Also, what are the practicalities of throwing a few of the other maps/modes in the rotation?

Could someone please change the warm-up time from 1 min to something sensible (15-20 secs) please?

Would it be possible to kick the L4D2 server? I can't get any response from HLSW, I was going to re-start them to get the latest updates installed.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

I'm doing the updates now....


Update:  The update finished and the servers have restarted and look OK from the console but I still can't see them on HLSW.  Can you check if you can see them from in game?

Looks like the L4D servers are not quite 100%. I can't see them in HLSW and they are not visible as community servers in-game either. :crying:

I'm away till Weds, so if someone could keep an eye on the CS server and restart it if necessary, that would be good :)

I'll weed out the unsuitable ones in the next week or so and we can remove them from the map list.

Using HLSW I can change to the other maps but the mode won't change and we're stuck with pistols only, so it looks like something needs to be ticked on the server.

Adding the extra maps is easy enough but mixed modes will be a challenge.  I know there is a Mixedmode sourcemod plugin but it says it applies random modes on map change. Good luck OB and let me know if you want me to take a look (would need to wait until the weekend),

OK, the only way I can see to do the mixed modes in a controlled way is through this plugin.

Blunt,  Can you please provide what mode/maps you'd like in the rotation in the required format.

I can't make to much sense of it at the moment, hopefully you can.

I'll get the plugin installed in preparation and once you supply the information, I'll turn it on.

I think that Arms-Race might be fun, and a good one to start off with (to see if it works)

Weird coincidence that I have just been reading that same thread (not that it means much to me)

If this is going to get too messy alternating between modes, it may be an idea to have an Arms-Race evening; I just need to know how to turn it on and off at the end.
I'd be more than happy with that as I think we all love the classic mode so much.

If I find some new maps, can you put those on for us?

I've got the new plugin installed and running but configured it (hopefully) to just run the rotation we had before.  
If you let me know what arms-race  map you want in the rotation then I can try adding it to see what happens.

As for installing new maps, just send me a link and i'll get it installed.  I'm not sure if the automatic download will work from the server or if people will need to install the map themselves first but we can try it out.
