Lol Drea!

He was taken on as a social Tl, i received a PM from Jas saying he was interested in joining RGW.Good dps tank OS etc and to chat with him...So i spoke with him couple days ago and he said he would like to join as a trial. So I took him on. Sorry if he should have an app and ive taken him on not the right way.

Nah, no problem with him being moved from Social to Trial with RGW, that does not need an app.  I was just interested in reading an app if it existed as I did not recognise the name.

He registered on the forums then I had a ts chat with him as his app messed up ...

He went thu the whole process and got the "thankyou" screen but it never stuck. He was happy with social while we decide if we had a spot. If we can use him then an app would be nice

As they havent turned up to many raids now....Prot pally tyzo and resto shammy adilon should be taken off trial and put to social.

So we could do with another tank,pref a pally not that important but would be nice and another healer pref a shammy.

Can we get an update here please?   What are RGW's current needs as I think we have some demotions etc to do if they are not turning up.   Remember, the aim is ot have a queue and some surplus to make sure you are never short of people or roles.

Healers we are good as lynx is coming back on his healer.
Tanks we have 2 and 1 geared os
3 melee (1 os tank)
5 ranged. (1os heal)

In regards to demotions....Tyzo Adilon havent been to a raid for ages and ive PM'd them on here and ingame with no response....The new kid razzeer...has had invites but not turned up to 1 raid yet, i havent seen him to talk to but tbh a 4th melee isnt really needed...took him on as deri wasnt turning up so much and nims kept being late but they have pulled their fingers out.

Going to start HC's from this week and if people arent coping i will update after raids so then we can get some trials in but dont really want to at the mo as we have "spares" for all. Dont want to bench 5-6 people.

Ok, let's demote Tyzo, Adilon and Razzer (if they have not been already).  I've removed them from the attendance webpage.

My concern with the tank situation is this:  If you have close to 100% attendance then you can get away with 2 tanks + 1 melee offspec as a reserve, but Treach is horribly erratic in his attendance and I honestly think he needs large boot in his backside to either turn up 100% of the time - you only raid 2 nights per week as it is and it's simply not good enough to have 67% attendance for a main tank role.   Keep in mind too that Sharpfang plays SWOTR and is about to start Op runs with them, so his attendance might falter.

Melee dps looks fine, but heavy with 3.  3 allows some swapping out of poor performers for particular fights.

Ranged dps looks fine with 5.

Healers we discussed last night and you're exposed on atm.   Drea is about to drop out with baseball coming (so I've removed him from the attendance figures anyway) and that leaves you with only 3 healers.  If Jewel is coming back as a priest healer then that's 4 and the holy pala we talked to last night (Baacoo) would make 5 and give you a full healer camp.

So, from my reading of the situation I'd say you probably need 1 tank, 1 healer (no healer needed if Baacoo joins)

You can probably get away with no tank if the attendance increases, but then also remember any wish to hold a Sunday raid too.  When the raid group is full that's an ideal time to sound out people individually to see if they want a 3rd night of raiding.

Oh and don't forget to prod me or Jas or someone to keep the attendance webpage roster current, it was out of date quite a bit when I looked at it this morning!

I agree with the tank situation and i have spoken with Treach. His attendence dropped due to RL issues...First moving and then not having internet,but yes he has been erratic but is getting better. With Sharp he is playing alot of SWTOR and he was going to quit several weeks ago due to his and Drea's love/hate relationship, but has said to me he wants to continue here and is enjoying having more responsibilty in the raids.

Spoke with Lynx after we had a chat with that pally and he is confirmed back with his priest.

Ranged...atm 2 are performing to their best, both the hunters. Sithy and the 2 mages are having targeting issues as we can see from logs. Sithy has improved alot the last few weeks and is actually doing research, asking how he can improve and such. Yet the mages just dont seem that bothered....

Yup will keep an eye on the roster :)

I've opened up recruitment on wowprogress and here on the forums for ranged DPS with a preference for a shadow priest/warlock/elemental shaman.

I've also put us as needing a resto shaman (you have 3 healers in the raid atm and that is not enough imo.

We continue to have 'Medium' interest in tanks on wowprogress to hopefully provide some cover should the tank situation deteriorate.
