RGW - Absence.

Well lets go straight to the point. Our absence is to low, the last few weeks I had to ask others to give up there evening of free time to help us out.

Starting of with 1 alt...then 2 and now tonight with a grand total of 5 RGT Alts helping us out because people are not coming along.

Mythhunter, where you at? Youve signed up as tentative but I cant find anything in the absence thread.
AngelDark, where you at? Ive noticed you werent invited for tonight but the amount of tentative and declined concerns me, also no post in the absence thread.

Bellanie, even though something happend to your phone history is repeating, your absence is far to low atm and I hope you can set this straight.
Nims, absence is on the edge.
Vanguish, absence is on the edge, ofcourse you cant come due to work, but please dont look suprised if we find someone that can come more.
Treach, absence is on the edge.

And obviously there are people that are less concerning or that im aware of there RL situation.

Lets not forget guys that there are a minimum of 9 others that you keep hanging if you dont let us know whats going on.
If the motivation is not there then dont just show up but let us know and we can find someone else.

But please guys if you want to play this game then put some time into it because thats what im doing and thats what others are doing aswell, and we certainly do not deserve to be handled like that.

Apologies for my d/c tonight, Computer went poof, turned if back on to find my CPU had overheated.. seems to be working though!? Shall take a gander tomorow

if your CPU is overheating you should maybe look at ure whole system jewelz as if your CPU does it again could be last time (that said could also be time to upgrade your hardware mate)

Upgrade my hardware? Its brand new :blink: Increased the RPM of the fans, should do the trick

OT I know:

If youre CPU overheated and the hardware is brand new then check the CPU cooler and how it is attached to the CPU.  Highly likely culprit is:

-if it came already attached then remove the cooler, remove the cheap thermal pad they probably used (or the cheaper thermal goop), clean the CPU & the cooler, then re-attach using a thin layer of a good quality thermal compound
-if you built the PC yourself then clean the CPU & the cooler, then re-attach using a thin layer of a good quality thermal compound
-finally make sure the CPU cooler is properly attached again

Other things to check:
- Sufficient air flow throughout the case - ensure cables are tied back neatly from the CPU, GPU and vents
- The fans are clean - remove excess dust
- Ensure the temperature thresholds in the BIOS are low enough to trigger more RPM
- Graphics drivers up to date (some official drivers have had bugs re the GPU fan RPM)

on a more seroius note, i have posted on the forums about my absence and i do not feel i need to post anymore than i already have, when i have a update i will let people know.

also make sure that you keep your tower somewhere with nice ventilation as keeping it somewhere small and snug may be space effective but its more likely to be stopping all the heat escaping and also making dust in the tower build up faster.

To Bellanie, aye u have posted but they need to know per session, so if your down as tentative and definatly wont be there just pop on forums under absence and make fast post and ure done, its just so drae knows who he needs to replace for the night

I have been absent alot....i have tried to update where i can....

Due to fracturing wrist/hand bones,moving and lack of internet my attendence has dropped and im sorry to RGW.

Im out of my plaster cast now (still sore) and i am connected again so i am ready to raid full time again.

Looking at the sign ups for the last couple of weeks Im not getting a warm feeling that RGW can sustain a raid team. As its only 2 raid nights I would expect almost 100% on attendance but im seeing much lower than that. The fact it is only 2 raid nights puts people off as most people that apply to us want to raid more.

If people aint all that bothered then its unfair on the ones that are .... I can imagine Drea has pulled out most of his hair by now trying to keep the raids running

We have identified this concern many times.
Constructive solutions are now needed for the way forward.
Can we shorten the raiding time?( ignore dkp for a moment) with the hour changing would it make it easier? Do we need to look at our tanks again? How many have we got ? Switch or me go Bearform as we seem to have plenty of cover at healz?
The lack of cover magnifies the RL things we all have from time to time that stop us raiding. I think there are a core 6 or 7 who are bothered in addition to Drea.
Can people reply with a constructive suggestion?
