Saw red sparrow the other day at the cinema, can't recommend it enough - https://youtu.be/PmUL6wMpMWw - based on a book the story is awesome, I didn't predict the ending like I do for most films.

RIP Scott Weiland and Chester Beddington but STP have a new singer in Jeff Gutt and i think he does them justice.

So if you like a bit of Southern Rock, Black Crowes, Allman Brothers Band etc. Give "The Temperance Movement"1 new Album a go. Scottish lads from Bishopbriggs, amazing live and vocalist Phil Campbell is awesome.

A favourite Waterboys track performed live that features an excellent 'guitar' solo :flirty:

This weekend and today I have been listening to this

"It's hard, but not as hard as Arma!!!" Tutonic
"Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon.." Terry Pratchett

Mmmmmmm, Erotic Cakes... I'll just leave this here for all the guitarists

A bit of a departure from my usual postings but this track grabbed me from the first listen - the bass line me thinks.

Sometimes you need to get into a groove to write that difficult report.  Today was just such a day, so I deployed some Pryda on loop, which had the desired (progressive house) trance-like effect.  Noise-cancelling headphones on, volume turned up, and begin to write the report......

The result was one report written in half the usual time and some minor complaints from the office on the floor below about my regular foot tapping and chair bouncing over the past two hours.  :norty:

Favourite bit - when the bassline really kicks in from about 1:30.  Enjoy!

Sometimes you've just got to watch something that'll put a smile on your face.

A great song which I often play. This live version is a favourite. Sivert Høyem's voice is just perfect (sorry, ignore the subtitles)

We're going to see Ed Sheeran at Wembley on Thursday.

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing but the rest of the family seem really excited

Chaosphere

I rate Ed Sheeran. I still think he has more talent as an artist than most of the popular music crowd today. He actually knows how to play his guitar and write a song for crying out loud!

I enjoy his music, sometimes, but that is really an entirely separate point :D
All our Gods have abandoned us.

TheDvEight

I enjoy his music, a lot of the songs of today are very generic.

Sorry but is this Ben's better half seconding his phone? :norty:
