Quote from: albert;432066Sorry but is this Ben's better half seconding his phone? :norty:

:roflmao:

In my defence, I set the bar pretty low when comparing him to the 'popular music crowd today'.
All our Gods have abandoned us.

Quote from: OldBloke;432044A great song which I often play. This live version is a favourite. Sivert Høyem's voice is just perfect (sorry, ignore the subtitles)

Seen him a few times, totally agree, always amazing. Robert Burås reminds me of Berhard Butler from Suede. This one is also great:

On tour early 2019, at some point her music stealthed it's way into my like list.

Debating whether this may be a punt as it's down the road.

Throwback 80's or what.....

Jason Donovan, Midge Ure, Five Star, Hot Chocolate, Altered Images, T'Pau and Toyah Wilcox.

For me, Midge Ure. Was a big Visage fan then Ultravox.

I have tickets to see Winwood next Friday in Amsterdam, throwback indeed.

That solo by Price is legendary, the song plays 50% through then he comes on and say to hell with you lot, I'm gonna own this song. Amazing.

The English Heritage thing Pen, I have to say Midge Ure is a winner, T'Pau was the first ever live gig I saw in my teens, very embarrassed about that, and the others well not my thing the 80s generally.

You're embarrassed? We're going to see Kylie in September  :roflmao:

I missed my wedding anniversary seeing Kylie many years ago! Well not her specifically but my wife uses her presence at the Music Industry Awards in London as an excuse to guilt me out for not taking her for dinner that evening. I did see her walk almost within touching distance past me. I never went to the event for her, honest, just the free beer.  :norty:

I'd rather get recommendations as I'd like to hear some new music that I'd not normally listen too.
