L4D2 back from the dead?

Once again this game raised it's head at the LAN and was a blast. In fact i think it was the most played game over the whole weekend. Some of us thought it might be worth trying to arrange a night or two with L4D2. Is there any enthusiasm for dusting this one off again?

I'm game for some zombie smashing.

Getting a lobby to connect to our dedicated server was always a PITA, but there's a good chance that there's been progress made on this front since we stopped playing. I'll do a quick Google when I get home tonight.

My failed attempt last year was good fun. Faust, Ghosty and I playing Expert was pretty tense

as far as im aware wed is still classed as l4d night. we tried to get it off the ground a few times but never any takers, its a shame as it really is a great i don't want to think too much game

Any workday, but wednesday would suit me best with a small margin, no friday/saterday at least.

I'm not sure we're talking about a full resurrection just a few more fun games, unless there's serious long term interest, which I'm not sure there is? Wednesday is indeed RO2 night and we shouldn't clash with that on a regular basis. The trouble is though that every day has something going on. As this isn't an officially designated game night as long as we're not taking players from another game I think we could just choose a night and give it a go.

Do we have anyone with both L4D2 and RO2? Would we be stealing if we arranged a run through next week? Or could we try Sunday night, which was Arma2 until recently?

I have both I wouldnt like to commit to full on lfd2 nights as my work lift is stopping me from gaming quite a bit as it is but i would be up for a few games every now and then when time allows.
