Think I'm safe too, and I'm due an upgrade soonish

Don't worry, you can stick with Windows 7. Windows 8 is just faster, that's all. And pretty good once you've scraped Metro off your boots (not "Operation Metro" but the Fisher Price front-end they mistakenly shipped with Win 8 that used to be called "Metro" before they realised the name was just as bad an idea as a touch-screen interface on a non-touch desktop OS).

TheDvEight

Thanks Arry' , been contemplating weather or not to install windows 8 still undecided.

Not quite.

  • By pre-ordering the Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition on Origin.com (getting it elsewhere won't pass muster)
  • By being a Battlefield 3: Premium member
  • By being a registered  owner of Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe  Edition.
Ironically I score 2/3.

What's a pity is they are not offering it to players of BF3 with high ranks or play time, or to "BattleField Veterans". Like me.

Wait, you need all 3 of those to get the beta?

That's right! :roflmao:

...No. Any one thing qualifies you.

If I am reading it right on battlelog, everybody gets access to the beta.
Premium members etc get 3 days exclusive access.  (http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/news/view/battlefield-4-beta-dates/)

I'm thinking of getting this. BF4 + Premium for £54.99.   Cheapest I've seen so far.

Looks like a super deal. Currently have just bf4 preordered for £29.99 delivered from green man gaming. Anyone else thinking of going for this too?

I'm down with that..

lionheart

Bought it. £54.99 for 2 years gaming ( which is what I've had with BF3 ) is a good deal.

Just spotted this, I'm cancelling my pre-order at tesco and getting this instead. Was always going to end up getting the DLC and premium anyway, so this is a much better price in the long run.
