I'm going to be booking three tickets for me and some relatives to attend the Farnborough Air Show on Friday 18th July 2014.  I'm planning to go on the Friday as you get access to the trade exhibition halls too (they are not open at the weekend).

QuoteFabulous Farnborough Friday

A limited number of tickets are available to attend the Farnborough International Airshow trade exhibition on Friday 18th July. For those with a real interest in aviation it is an opportunity to experience the four exhibitions halls and outside exhibits featuring the latest in aviation technology. Upgrade packages are also available including grandstand seating in a private enclosure.
I'm intending to get the £59.00 package ticket which includes Entry, enclosure access and grandstand seating as noted on this web page:

If anyone else is interested in going then please let me know asap as I will be booking the tickets within 24 hours to make sure I can get them before the limited supply runs out!

I, as a local cheap skate, will be grabbing a free ticket at some point. Alternatively here is a hill right on the end of the runway (Miles Copses) and they come within what feels like feet and inches. There will be a fair few people up there with beer and seats, and portaloo's....

Better view and out in the countryside, what more could you want!

Awesome?

Here's a summary of the 2012 show which gives you an idea of which aircraft attend.

I'm hoping kinda hoping that XH558 will also make an attendance following the replacement of its fuel tanks after they found leaks & corrosion in them last September!

Hmmm, tempted but have made some plans that will make some dents in my wallet....
But big cheers for the headsup about it. Will perhaps go there another year, or Duxford again, and again....

TeaLeaf

Nps, I bought my tickets and am looking forward to it! :)

Brilliant day, 1480 photos, defintely more than 6 litres of water and still dehydrated at the end.    Wonderful photos Smilo, here's a couple of mine:
