Picking 'She who must be obeyed as a Goddess" up from the airport at 10.30pm so if I do make it I'll be disappearing about  9.30pm.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Virgin media has decided to play silly buggers for most of the weekend so I never made it online. Right now I'm sitting in Terminal 2.

13 playing Arma! I think I might be missing a belting evening of getting shot a lot
:-) Have fun.

I blew up a tank, and saved everybody like a hero.

I'll have my VC now, cheers.

But but but did you see the bit where Tut destroyed the tank and saved us all?!

:D

Great fun thanks all.

Please guys, stop going on about it - I hate to make a scene.

I mean all I did was sneak around the back of a T100 which had murdered you all, blew it to crap, slaughtered its crew and single handedly saved the day. It's really not worth all this attention.

think they need to sort out the fatigue system in arma 3.

I don't have a problem with it at all - it's realistic. You can't expect to be carrying a .50 cal sniper rifle, 100 rounds of very heavy ammunition and several AT rounds and expect to be able to jog several km without getting tired.

Once I ditched my 4 Titan missiles and carried one loaded plus one in a backpack, it was fine. I consider this a reasonable loadout :)

Here's what we can do to alleviate the problem:

1. Make better use of light vehicles, instead of running everywhere. Last night for example, we could have put in a recon team by chopper while the heavy weapons drove up in vehicles. We can be more inventive than we currently are :)

2. Split the loadout of heavy stuff (AT rounds, MG boxes etc) across the team. If everybody carries a Titan missile in their backup for example, you don't need to have one poor sod at the back coughing and wheezing while he lugs around 4 of them plus the launcher.

FYI - if you check your inventory, you'll notice a white bar at the bottom of the screen. If it's more than halfway full you're going to get very tired quickly, so make sure you don't overload yourself.

Nice explanation. There's also a nice Dslyecxi video about a stamina bar mod he has written, which also gives an insight into how the stamina system works. Running through the bootcamp tutorial also helps. I think the old problem of players continuing to pant and wheeze after they had recovered their stamina is now fixed?

I don't like the fatigue system now, but it did lead to one funny episode.

Tut and I had crawled about 100m and were very nearly in a good position, when i spotted a small hut  about 10m away.  "lets go for that , better cover and a place to fire from" says I, now tut  thought that was a good idea as well, we both got up and then proceed to "Run" at slower than crawling pace..

Cue several expletives and both of using being hit by a lot of bullets fired by several very angry enemy type chaps.... que some serious laughter

Now although that was funny i still think that you should have the ability to sprint for at least 10m when getting up from prone or after being on one knee
