been looking at this, seems u can buy the sensor and the headset clip separately

how many people have got this?
should i buy the sensor first as both seem out of stock at the moment.

A number of us have it to my knowledge, i got mine from the flight store where it had everything in one box.

Yeah, I have version 4.

The Clip is way more accurate than the hat, but it is like it is made from eggshells, you have to be really,really careful with it.

For minor/general head movement (like racing etc) The hat reflector is ok.  But if you want to be very accurate, like looking around a cockpit to click buttons ect, the Clip is much better.

I have successfully made a Very cheap conversion of a PlayStation eye camera. It's a bit of hassle but it works great. You can then use their clip or build your own. The are even no ir alternatives that just use webcam. Face track is the name of that. Totally free!

Mine arrived the other day, not had time to install it yet as my old Dell monitor seems to be bigger and more rounded than the sensor clip allows for, so I need to figure out how to attach it.

My sensor just sits on top - no clip. You are putting the right element on the monitor

The down bit of the legs is still on the curved rear of my monitor when it ends, so it ends up losing grip if you have placed it there - unless the legs are not meant to be attached to the monitor at all.....?

mine slips as the top of my monitor is curved a little as well....i was doing my head in , so i just put a small amount of blue tack on the bottom and boom...that b**th dont move no more

Apparently newer thin-bezel monitors have the opposite problem in that the feet hang into the picture which requires a snip of the scissors to trim the feet shorter.

Ah well, one solution was never going to fit all monitors....

They should just have the thing ship with a chunk of blu-tack! It'd make things easier.
