Anyway, the scene is far better in the books where you can read her internal monologue as she walks. The pride of a lioness, and all that.

I do wonder if the constant, crushing darkness will start to put people off. At least there's some seriously awesome slam dunk characters from the books to introduce next season - I hope they get the casting right!

Obligatory waffle to hide spoilers (come on guys, we've asked you to do this before - don't ruin it for others).

I don't see that happening, mainly because it would break one of the book/show's main themes. That being:

[Spoiler=GoT]Those characters who are 'honourable', who selflessly try to do the right things for the benefit of the realm, come last. In a bad way. They lose out to the selfish, the ruthless and the just plain crazy. For this reason, my money is on him being worm food....[/Spoiler]

Plus, Mel is always being shown "Snow" then her god is giving her visions. Both him and Danny have a considerable amount of Azor Ahai pre-requisites met.

Yes the Cersei walk of shame was really powerful. IMO it was a brilliant scene depicting her going from the proud start to being humbled at the end. Very emotive and brilliantly executed. Yes it was a body double and the CGI wasn't exactly spot on but it was powerful. Her new Captain of the Guard looks like a mean SOB.

As for Jon? Kit Harrington has commented he's out of the next series so unless it's a major double bluff.

[spoiler=GoT]Cersei humbled? She just looked furious to me. I was sure she would set all of kings landing on fire or something. She doesn't seem the kind you would do something like htat to and survive. Or even be given a quick death for that matter.[/spoiler]
