dMw Grand Tour

I think it would be fun to have a tour of our world again.

I would be tempted to have an evening where we flip the server to the mode which allows us to fly and then have an aerial tour of our structures in short order. We could obviously then flip it back to survival at the end.

There's several things I haven't seen but it just takes so damned long to travel between them lol.

if we could get the dam map thing sorted it would make things easier as i have got lost a few times... but i agree sometimes flying in minecraft can be quite good fun and a tour would be nice as ive never been to happy castle

I've checked and there is a mod which we can temporarily set to allow flying.

Obviously creative mode allows flying but if we activated that for a night we'd have to trust everyone not to suddenly give themselves a gazillion resources!

The other option is for people to list what they'd like to include on the tour then give us the co-ordinates and we can just teleport from one to t'other. However flying would open up much better viewing angles.

Even without the map we can probably navigate using the map as it is.

well if we are being shown round by the creators of the structure then they will hopefully know roughly how to get there from anywhere

Don't think swapping to creative is a good idea though unless we all stick together

As we don't have a GL for this game currently I'll get it organised.

I'll talk to OB about uploading a Mod which let's one fly in Survival mode which can then be removed. Then no problems with having to go creative.

You can add fly, I seem to remeber without also giving people the ability for people to get silly resources

Paddy has an impressive log cabin, castle x2, aircraft carriers x 2, warehouse 13 to name a few

I dont think mine are up for looking at, although I do have the lone stone in the middle of some grass near the aircraft carrier..took me age to build that

I do though have the most northerly run in the nether by quite a way..takes 15 mins from the village hub to get to the end..all on tracks as well
