Yeah, he is quite talented.  Im not a fan of his ideas about the game (we have clashed several time on the forums), but he does seem to have some good graphics skillz!

For $25 I think we should get one from him anyway just to see what he comes up with.  Put me down for a donation towards it, I'm sure we'll cover it whatever happens.  We'd need to agree a brief though so that we get what we want, which leads me on to.......

I like the concept in the one you posted Oldie, but for me what is missing is any reference to DMW.    If people see a circle with a star then that's what they will see, but they won't be able to define it as DMW.    I'd want to see something that had DMW in it, so that our org's ships have a clear brand.    I know we'll be able to mouse-over and find out (probably), but almost every other decent org's logo has their name in it and I think we should follow suit.  Look at the PACT signatory page as an example, there's only us and one other without the name in the logo, everyone else had it included.

The lower left one catches my eye the most, but I, not keen on the spacemen.  I'm wondering if replacing them with the Jump Point logo would look better - ties it in with SC a bit more?

The space and helmet intrigues me too - I like the idea of this WITH a skull visible inside!  Not keen on the lettering/wording though, as it looks more like a banner than a logo.
