With the mothballing of the old 'The Island' server and the retirement of Grimnar as Game Leader we were more than a bit apprehensive on how starting from scratch on a brand new map - The Center - would be received by the community. As it turns out the move has rekindled a lot of people's interest and the server is attracting good numbers every evening - despite the new settings making it a much tougher experience than our previous server delivered.

The new map is beautifully crafted and offers a shed load of new places to explore and marvel at the eye-candy. If you haven't already given it a look then I strongly suggest you do so. The wild beasts now have a maximum level of 150 as opposed to the old setting of 30 so expect to be eaten alive multiple times before you finally get a foothold :blink:

The council have decided that we would keep Ark as an adopted game and therefore have appointed Pen as the new game leader :yahoo:

Pen will sort out his in-game admins in due course but please join with me in thanking him for stepping-up and please give him your excellent support as always.
