I had to buy a new monitor recently on a budget (mine blew up and needed replacing the same day) After a bit of research off < £200 monitors I went for this

It's an unremarkable but perfectly decent curved monitor. Does everything fine, isn't too taxing on the GPU as its only 1920 x 1080. It's under 200 quid which is bonus and the main reason I bought it.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

You can get the 144hz, 24", 1080p Acer GN246HLB for £180 on Amazon.

I would get a 144hz screen if I were you. Many here will rave about 144hz being far superior to the standard 60. I wouldn't suggest a standard 60hz screen to anyone who enjoys a bit of FPS now tbh, especially with some 144 models being so affordable.

Noticed a few of the negative comments saying the monitor is advertised as LED but it in fact LCD. Confirmed by looking at the spec. Not sure if that's important to you. Only tech issue is red pixels occasionally being noticed on delivery and they will only accept a return if there are 3 dead pixels.
Cheers, Bert

You can always return it under DSR regs regardless of the pixels. Just way it's not right for you as opposed to the fact it has dead pixels and you're entitled to return it FOC within 14 days.

Here is a good site that reviewed the best sub £200 monitors, there is even a 1440p in the list.

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Fleabay also has some bargains, but you have to know what you're looking for (so read what sulks posted, and any other mass reviews, first).
