Server Event - Giga Tame

Chaps we have loosely discussed the giga tame recently but have not yet planned out a time to have a go at this. I am loosely suggesting 1 or 2 dates and times...

Saturday 19:00 onwards.
Monday 19:00 onwards.

Which do people prefer / which can people make?

With this we will plan to all meet up, get kitted out, head off in search of the giga and try to bring it down and tame it together. It will require some people hunting for prime, others staying with the giga, and so on.

Looks like this will be Monday night boys and girls!

We will start from 19:00 or thereabouts, but don't worry if you can't get on until 20:00 or something, we will get you involved regardless!

We will try to find and tame a Giga tonight, may God have mercy upon our souls.

We should be getting going from 7pm or so, but turn up as and when. I am hoping we are well underway by 8.

Thanks for coming along guys,

For those that missed it, we flew 3 teams of 2 at a level 35 Giga, fired something like 700+ tranq arrows over 1-2 game days, and still didn't bring the beast down.

We will be arranging a second night to have a go with a different method (involving bear traps and building a cage to keep the beast trapped) soon!

Can you guys please write on here a night NEXT WEEK that you are able / keen to attend?

For me Monday is again the best bet, but I am also free Tuesday or Friday

It was frustrating as according to the dodorex calc we had more than enough to bring it down. Hell, even the tranq darts themselves should have done. The only thing I can think is that it's regenning fast.

On Friday if not before I'm going to work on bringing in that low level female Quetz we saw. Apart from that I'm all in.

Perhaps we should research if its even possible? Check the sort of fire rate we have to keep to and then decide how to approach it?

I tried to tranq a trike (say that 10 times fast) other night... 50 tranq arrows still had no effect on it.

Maybe we need a server restart in case there is an issue, and a practice easy tame first, to be sure it works
