Offical Game Night + wishlist

Hey hey

At the LAN we discussed which nights people could play Ark and which would be best for the Community Game Night.

For those which missed it, this will entail having a dedicated night to community builds and events. That means you'll be free to do whatever you like on other nights but hopefully this one night you'll make a special effort to be on and to join your fellow survivors in group activities.

So, two things.

Please fill out the poll marking which nights you can play as a group. Choose all please. There is no option for Friday or Saturday as historically we leave these as 'freeplay'
Please post up if there's anything you'd like to do, create or see on one of those nights.

It's going to be a challenge to find a night where we can all make and which doesn't clash with other games. We'll try our best but if it happens that we clash with another officially supported game then so be it.


WISHLIST:

Build and arena and have a bit of PvP (sithy)

Build a dMw Town / Communal area with housing close together, group / shared crop plots / fields, and so on. A hub for us all to live in if desired. Probably at the centre.

Build a bridge from Tropical Island North to Half-burnt Island with the aim of kiting L150 T-Rexs to a taming area.

Someone needs to change the in-flight video to something other than 'Jurassic Park'.

Seriously though, is the dino-style-pokemon still a thing? Could probably get some guys to volunteer to film/judge/commentate?

I personally love the idea of making a dMw town where we could all meet up and work together to make a great town. I think it would take a lot of work and resources but could be fun to do, and once it's complete it would be a great feeling to see it all complete.

I also love the idea of having an arena you can defiantly count me in to be a gladiator in the area to either fight other players or dinos. You could put a few storage boxes around the arena and in each one could be a weapon or armour that we would have to use to fight . There is also the idea of dino vs dino and we could bet on the fight haha a stack of metal on my frog killing your frog.

I feel I haven't seen the best bits of this island and I have heard that there are a few places that even you lot haven't been before and I would love to go and see some new sites of this beautiful island.

I'd love to see a 'Caveman Night'. All dressed in Cloth, hunting dino's with nothing but spears and/or clubs.

Dino race track/route might be a fun event

Krypten factor style obstacle course with added raptor/snake pits

Some kind of capture the flag/trophy arena?

Gaytoni and I have moved closer to Pen n peeps with this idea in mind...

This is all good ideas. I agree with the race track and obstetrical course could be a laugh. All on level 150 raptors and attacking each others dino is allowed with prize for the winner and/or most destructive.

I think we're going to adopt Thursday as our official game night and we'll throw in another night as needed to accommodate those who can't play regularly on Thursdays.
