would recommend a purchase if your contemplating attending the next few lans.. Official copies just work together properly rather than hacked versions.

I would strongly suggest you have the game on Steam Sneaky, if you want to be involved with any UT-related LAN shenanigans. We KNOW steam copies will play together - there could be problems if we start introducing other sources.

And @Dr Sadako... well you may find something of the sort at a LAN soon, who knows... and well if people get on board perhaps we can arrange an ad-hoc night for a test run in the New Year

have all on disc and bought them a couple of years agon on steam, great games..if i could replace all my cd/dvd games with steam versions i would..much less hassle.
