I don't think we should.  We've already dropped it down to the lowest level and I want some challenge in the game and to encourage us to work together.
If someone goes off to the edge of the map on their own then they need to be prepared to defend it.

Yeah agree with this, it's undoubtedly the chance you/we take if decide to go off exploring, it's a fair hike to the edge of Highlands/snow biome from where most are.  Which is main reason where I started building where I did.

Within a pre existing structure with only one way in or out. Which should hopefully be easily defended.  

With sithy and galatoni also up here now we should be okay but I reckon my first base will be the one that's targeted, just a hunch.  Although night shift tonight and tomorrow so won't be around [emoji24]

I believe that the target is entirely chosen at random and could be a 1x1 hut built for sandstorm protection.

So anyone got a clue what this thing is? Looks like a Rhino but doesn't give me thick hide, or horns, it gives exotic meat and small fangs and reptile hide. Total nightmare to kill alone, but managed 2 of them so far, ran from over 10.

The Purge is an NPC army that enters the map randomly, moves  across the map towards the largest base to attack it. Players can attack  it with a chance to capture a general.
