Someones getting bored telling people what to do

Good guide btw

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Chaosphere

Albert can you include links to the current relic site maps? I am always looking through my history for those.

Good guide btw

This is useful.

Thanks for Lib for getting me started in this game and for his help when I kinda ran out of fuel.

Sulks I get your point but suspect it's more a case of people having to be told repeatedly what to do as opposed to one offs.

Part of being in a gaming COMMUNITY is that we help each other. Those helping others in one game may well be the ones asking for help in another. That's the way it works. I can understand having to repeat instructions several times could prove.... ummm frustrating. I know as I've had to do that in Ark but I've never baulked at helping someone start, tame or build.

Actually not, just it's hard to keep track of all these sources and they have changed since the early days so this should help keep us all current.

Exactly right Pen, we are a community and help each other. Sorry I couldn't stick around the other night to help you settle in, if I play after 9/9.30pm UK time I'm not gonna sleep well for work in EU time the next day. Plus Lib was in super enthusiastic mode and we were just talking over each other trying to help so it made sense for one of us to duck out, no offence meant.

Sulks is just living up to his namesake :woot2:

Thanks for the updates. Elite is currently my game of choice when I'm going to or from night shifts (adjusting my sleep pattern - or trying to). It's a great game for this as it can be so chilled and relaxing. I have recently just been exploring random systems performing surface scans and so on. These links are full of helpful info.. particularly trading is something I need to look more into as I still find myself struggling to make good cash.

Important point for those toying with Engineering (Oldie).

https://steamcommunity.com/app/359320/discussions/0/351659808492158350/

If you roll an upgrade that you like the look of, apply it because you can basically keep rolling and from that point the engineering panel roll window (the one that has the sliders on it) will show your the +ve or -ve in comparison with the upgrade you have ALREADY applied, and not the default. Whereby letting you easily decide if your new roll is better than the old.

The little window at the bottom right is the defaults, but not the outcome of your new roll.

When you apply one upgrade over another, the original is removed completely including any experimental parts on weapons.

So apply the best one you get and just keep over writing it with better rolls until you're happy! No need to remove it before overwriting.

Hope this makes sense, it took me ages to get my head around what was happening.

Sn00ks

Next they'll have mobile phones and then there'll be all the crashes. Don't come moaning when you toast your ship because you were engrossed in a video.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.
