Apparently I submitted so many items to the Issue Council thing when SC 2 launched that I got bumped to 1st Wave tester this time and am now able to download and install 3.0.

THe problem is I really can't be bothered.... I'm clearly suffering from Star Citizen burn out and don't want to spend every evening on the Issue Council site filing endless reports or bug confirmations.

Anyone else having a look around? Is it a buggy mess or a playable game? Is it worth the download.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Way I see it, drop 1 or 2 bug reports and enjoy it for what it is. Any more then others should chip in. Can’t expect individuals to go out their way totally to report bugs. It’s sort of something you do and one or two releases and lose the will to live. Unless you’re profession is software tester! [emoji3]

I got an email overnight, so I just downloaded 3.0.  Bad news is that I'm busy most of today so won't get a chance to really have a good play with it until perhaps tomorrow night.

Get yourself signed up asap. The queue for processing the ptu transfer is horribly long.

Aye. I agree. The clients are all running in debug mode. So they'll be reporting client data to their Dev teams. This is why the client appears to be slow on some and not others. Monitored clients will be sending far more data than normal. This means that while bug reports are useful, by just playing you'll be helping.

On a side note, this is really beginning to shape up now. It's as I hoped and are beginning to see the gameplay now. Group photo anyone?

Been trying to download for two days now, but my account still hasn't been copied over to the PTU. :(

I had no issue downloading, however I cannot launch the game.  Issue Council has it reported and reproduced by 132 others, so I guess it is in triage at the moment awaiting someone to look at it.   Frustrating as I so wanted to take a peek tonight!

I'm still waiting on my copy notice. :/ At least it's on progress, right?

The problem was mine not CIG's.  I was using an older launcher

Re-downloading now.

You have a huge burden on your shoulders. I think you're the first of us on there.
