Ragnarok? Valhalla?

I know a few people are bored with Aberration and its dark foreboding atmosphere although there's appetite to do the boss fight.

Is there any interest in us reopening Ragnarok to do the remaining content?

or

What about running a Valhalla map from scratch?

Valhalla appears to be dead as a project and has no further updates/fixes planned so I don't see that as an option. I'm not sure Ragnarok has any legs left other than the boss fight and it seems people don't have the desire to spend the time working towards the bosses. Not sure what to suggest.

Shame about Valahlla, I knew it wasn't being updated but thought it was all but finished.

The rest of Ragnarok has been released so that may be an option but you're right about the boss fights and I'm not sure we have the numbers in any case.

OK I think I'd like to restart Ragnarok as I, for one, would like to explore the rest of the map which has now been released.

Anyone else fancy having a bit of an explore??

Whitey is going to dust it off and spin it up so stay tuned. I'm hopeful tonight would be good.

Would someone please be able to patch it if needed.

Ragnarok is running again and in a cluster with Aberration to allow cross Ark transfers (at Pens request).

Yup. I know the clustering will have an impact with character and imprints but it could be amusing.

Whitey. So did you overwrite your character then you went to Ragnorak and use your Aberration one or not? If not then presumably you lost the imprint bonus on anything you brought over. When you then transferred back to Aberration I also guess you lose your imprints there?

I just uploaded the crab on my Aberration character and downloaded on Ragnorak with my character there. As crabs don't have an imprint bonus I can't check the impact but I guess it would be lost unless it's tied to the account.

Looks like the engrams have been reset on Raggy that fine but what i did notice is you cant learn the aberration engrams... You will need to hop servers. So now Im not sure which toon to loose. Much pondering required

You don't need to lose a toon unless you're worried about losing imrpinting bonus bringing dinos over from Aberration.

What I've found out so far:

1. You can't migrate dinos from Raggy to Aberration but you can transfer inventory items (apart from the usual restrictions).
2. You can upload dinos in Raggy and download it with your other character on Raggy (it becomes yours but has no imprinting.
3. You can upload Abeerration specific items (ziplines, glow sticks yada yada), download and use on Raggy.

My thought is to keep both my characters on Aberration and Raggy. The use Aberration toon to create and upload what I want as and when and download and use with my other toon and vice versa. The only downside apart from XP is the loss of imprinting.

The only thing we may want to consider at some stage is blueprints and whether we move any from one to the other. Certainly the blueprints on Raggy are far superior in terms of armour and weapons but there's a couple of sweet ones on Aberration (Compound Bow and Shotgun) we may want to take. I suggest we leave them where they are at the moment and then do a compare with someone on each server comparing.
