Seems to be quite a few fundamental changes in this WW2 version.

No premium package, which probably just means it'll cost £60. Can't complain though I always get my moneys worth with BF.

Details here.

With any luck they'll release a demo/free weekend for me to try before committing to buy it

Will they ruin the game with micro transactions?

We will have to see but i really like the idea of all the major changes that they have done. Its nice to see that they have gotten rid of premium, and also that anyone can now revive so give the team a bigger chance to stay alive if you work together. i want to see a lot more gameplay but i think i will end up with this game

I'll get this I think looks cool what do you think of it Lion.

Only one I haven't bought is Hardline.

Liking the look of this so will probably pre-order to get on Beta when it's available.

It would be awesome if a load of us get it and get our own bf server, loved those days.

I would love to get this. I was big into BattleField 2 and 2142

There’s so many positive coming from this reveal week. No hero pickups, no behemoths, no health regen, squad reviving...

Few negatives also but I’m looking forward to seeing/playing actual multiplayer.

It's hard for me to be anything but pessimistic with any EA title these days, but what I'm hearing here does sound like steps in the right direction at least.

I will endeavour to keep an open mind to the game. It has been a long time since I enjoyed a battlefield game, but once upon a time they were a huge part of my gaming life.

Do we have any Origin Access subscribers? The game opens up October 11th for subscribers, otherwise known of the Thursday of the October LAN :D

I'd love to be able to try it on someones system if that's the case - I'm still hoping that they'll release some sort of demo during the beta stage

That would be me then chaos, I brought it and haven't cancelled it yet, I want to see more game play from youtubers I would say before I pre order or anything but can then show people it a Lan if I get it

Its £3.99 for 1 month. Its not that much to pay and could make it the Friday night game.

Chaosphere

Well we won't be running it as a LAN event, with it 1) having only just been released, 2) requiring a subscription AND a £60 purchase to join in, and 3) with so many in the community being more than a little fed up with EA games, and in particular the Battlefield franchise (it used to be a regular staple for us but EA's behaviour pushed many of the regular dMw-ers away from the games).

I mentioned the LAN and the early access as I'd love to check the game out. If they deliver on the positives we are reading about and the game ends up making good on some of the problems from the last few titles, it could be one to watch. I'd like to see some return to battlefield from dMw, but I'd wager it'd have to 'earn' it first...
