Please note that we are now running CD on all three servers.

CD is currently optional on both the MeatHook and Homer but will soon become mandatory like Baldric.

Please feedback any issues you may have with things like lag, reg and connection problems that you suspect are due to CD.

I have noticed a drop in pings since going to CD, particularly last night.

Prior to using CD, my ping was typically in the mid-20's.  When using CD last night, my ping was in the mid-40's.

I can't complain about reg, cos there are days when I can't hit a barn door

Well you did ask for feedback ;)

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

Is there a little hack that can make C-D start automatically when cs starts? In days of yore we had programmes that did it (forget what it was called.  <_<  Smilodon, step right up please.  :D )

Grimnar

Only got 1 halflife.exe error.

But after that nothing.

Given how small the CD client is I have just put a shortcut to it in my startup group. Consequently, it starts every time my PC starts :)

If you are running HLSW

http://www.hlsw.org/index.php?language=English

you can set it up so cheating death is automatically started if it is on the server.

Both first class replies. Let's see mmm, as I don't use HLSW it has to be the startup folder. Thanks gents

If you right click on the CD icon in your startup folder and select properties you can set the program to run minimised so that it appears in the system tray instead of as a windowed program (you forget its there to be honest)

CD will be back. A new client has already been released but is too flaky at the moment to recommend users download and install it.
