::coughs:: I can't get in  :(   I t tells me I can't join a custom game until I load the custom game.  WT?  I played NS for abotu 5 minutes earlier tonight on some other server so I know I have it - what gives??

it may be down to me not having the patches for making a server...i was in but it was a bit quiet

so im off to n42 to c what the yanks do on it 208.144.248.101

:(  sorry guys, failed you all here! I was late and then my missus started giving me hassle. Seemed like a fun game but I'm not much of an admin I'm affraid.  :cry:

I enjoyed myself. Frenzy seems to understand the tactical side of the game quite well which prob helped Oldie and I and consequently made it tough for TL and you. If we could get a couple of guys who know the game (one on each team) it could be quite a hoot. I appreciate the time on your server Albert. Thanks m8

I'll echo what BB said. Frenzy made it very easy for us.

Both he and Tutonic play NS regularly so if we could persuade them to both play at the same time it would be a better experience.

Having said that ... I've played as alien before and I hated it. This game should have a Marine vs Marine option IMO.

Cheers BlueBall, I was all geared up earlier in the day with the patches all applied and adminmod installed, then when I tried to join the sever it crashed several times. I disabled adminmod and it worked. So I thought, we'll just play without adminmod running. Then I forgot, I know all the adminmod control commands, but very few of the original half-life ones have stuck in my memory since I learned to set the damn game up on linux. I had also lost my config (had a backup) after the last upgrade which over wrote it.

I can see it being fun when two people of similar knowledge of the game are vs eachother as commanders. Nice try Sheepy, me and TL had a bit of trouble getting the hang of it and your tuition was the only thing that gave us any clue what to do. These damn gun turrests are annoying though.

i think that NS has died a bit of a death amoung us, although i think tut and frenzy may still play

Thanks for the offer Big B I may just do that in a few months..... Got a lot of study activities on just now so can't really get into too many new games for a bit.

thx Big-B ill try it this afternoon....... all i need to do is find how to use it :)

Good games the other night(morning for me) btw on T.G. nice to see it busy...but please tell eternal not to get so upset when i shoot at his head...hehe  :wink: Most of the maps were new for me but your members were all a great help in spoon feading me around them :D

LoL yea we had some good games that night..... And if i rember correct you were owning all of us. :D

As far as the bots go, use them for learning the maps, or learning to command, after that they are worthless. You should just come play and learn the maps with your friends... :D
