I didn't get any reply but I went for the Plantronics Audio 510 USB Stereo and will hopefully have it next week. :)
Hopefully this will improve my sound for Source and such.

Warning : I'm rather n00b in the audio aspect

After reading here I ended up wanting this Zalman Headset ZM-RS6F+M 5.1, so I checked my old SB Audigy Player card and I ended up with this conclusion: that headset would not work with my card as it has only 2 sockets and the headset has 3 jacks(Zalman manual).

Now the question: is this headset compatible with the card and is only me being a n00b not knowing it or to use this headset a specific type of soundcard is needed :g:?

EDIT: I found out that my digital entrance is also my 3rd analogical socket....all is nice an clear now :D

My Plantronic 90s have finally started going wrong after 3 or 4 years of very heavy use. I've just ordered another set from Amazon. When I bought my first pair they were over £70 - the new ones I ordered are £29!!!

Jewelz^

Ive had plantronics HF for nearly half a year now and the mic has gone wrong already.

Can't say I'm to fond off my Plantronics and allready contacted the shop about it where I bought it.
To much static noise.:sideways:
It seems to be a problem with the Shuttle and the headset.

I use Creative HS-600 that came with the X-fi card. They sit around the ears, so that you can wear them for a long time with pain in the ears. They isolate all other sound well. They have an on/off switch for the mic on the cable.

I have tried all kinds headsets, mostly expensive good headsets with a mic on the table, and for PC use this is just as good. Have been using it for about 6 months and still feeling good. Really like the way they isolate all other sound.

I use a Copperhead as well - I am having a hard time adjusting to it. When I get the dpi and acceleration right, I lose the precision... I like a really fastmoving mouse... but with the pace all the way up and acceleration to make it perfect, it is not precise enough. And with less acceleration (more precision) it is too slow... Any ideas mate?

Edit: **** soz wrong thread
