That's great news Whitey, thanks for the update.
I'm sure you'll pass on our best wishes and let them know we're thinking of them.:)

Yes indeed, great news and I hope it continues :)

It's been a while since I gave an update on Thulsa but we had some bad news this week from a meeting Hazel had with the specialists looking after him.  Although he has been making some progress mentally, his physical progress has not been good and the specialist don't think it will get much better than it is at the moment.  He has very little use of his left arm or leg and will need 24x7 care going forward.  He is expected to be in hospital for at least another 2-3 months to help with his mental rehabilitation which has a long way to go and will continue when he leaves hospital.  I regularly speak to him about you guys and the LANs etc and it usually brings a smile to his face.

Thanks for the update, Steve. Not good to hear that the the progress he was making, albeit slow, looks to have stopped. Tough break.

Just seen this because of the bump.

Please pass on my best wishes to Thulsa and family please Whitey.

He's a great guy and have shared many a beer with him and you Whitey.

I hope he continues to make progress and hope to see him again soon.

Great to see Stephen posting again.   I couldn't exactly ask how things were going in public, but how's he & Hazel doing Whitey?

I don't won't to say too much on here but they are no longer together and Stephen has a new partner.  Health wise he's doing a lot better than anyone thought he would and is back curling again (wheel chair curling).
The brain damage has changed his personality and he's not the same Thulsa you knew but he has most of the memories and does remember most of the people with access to this forum.
I haven't spoken to him for a few months.
