Looks like some of the diffuser/front wing modifications done by McLaren have shaved some time:

1. Nakajima Williams-Toyota (B) 1:17.494 102
2. Kovalainen McLaren-Mercedes (B) 1:17.946 84

Hieki stopped on track, so there might be some reliability gremlins there, Naka with the fastest time overall by the looks

Testing is now over

Woohoo!!!  :yahoo:
Huge congrats to the Brawn team, and to Button and Barrichello.
I haven't been so excited by a new season since I don't know when...Shame about Vettel and Kubica, but that's motor racing. Really looking forward to Sepang. :dribble:

Doorman

I do hope that's not a result you're woohooing about. :eyebrow:

thought the coverage was good, although still not convinced jordan should be there, he keeps harping on about some right old crap sometimes.

other than that good, now bbc do us a favour and get it on hd

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Armitage

It's bernie not the bbc which is the HD problem.

must say great race, nice work Jenson . But Lewis still gets my tip for the title:boxing:

Well done Brawn team, Jenson was flawless and Rubens was, well, lucky :lmfao:

Have to admit though, I thought they would be quicker going by the qualifying :g:

My apologies too.

I think Toyota got played by McLaren, I mean, Lewis wasn't going to take his place back in the fear of getting penalied, so in theory they could of both stopped on the track.........you can imagine it.....after you...no no, you go on.....nooooo, I insist, :lmfao:

Despite know the result, it was a terrific race to watch. Loads of action! Brawn had better make the most of the glory...'cos it won't last. :)

Likely true, but may be a few races in before the other teams improve their cars due to lack of testing.

As for race exctitment, was good but didn't think it any more xciting that last years.
Last year the race was also won by the leader from the start so no difference there.

Check out the BBC red button for some classic Monaco races, some serious nostalga with Murray and James.
